The Historical Society created a special exhibit for display at the 100th GDS Fair, which ran from August 25 to Labor Day. The exhibit featured dozens of photographs taken at the fair over the years, as well as ribbons, prizes and memorabilia, including the premium booklet from the 1917 “Greene-Dreher School & Community Fair.” The 2017 Fair Queen Victoria Patti stopped by the display as it was being set up by volunteers Jeanne Brown and Bernadine Lennon.
