Bliss Ireland was our guest speaker at “Stories From the Past” at Peggy Bancroft Hall in September. Bliss discussed the life and career of her father, Henry Arneberg (1914-1986), who taught at Greene-Dreher High School, later Wallenpaupack High School, for forty years. Many of his former students attended the talk, where they shared memories of their teacher, coach and mentor and gathered for a photograph after Bliss’s presentation.
